Killzone 2 review

I just played Killzone 2 and it is awesome. I think that it is really intense if your not used to games that get your heart pumping. There are too many explosions. Especially on harder difficulty there will be so many explosions you won’t even know what is happening. You might die and by the time that happens you will be like what. Ok PROs: Destructible environments is a good thing, Sniping is awesome, innovative way to put SIXAXIS to use in a FPS, The AI is really tough so try staying back for a  while if your playing on harder difficulty. CONs: Your partners are kind of retarted like Rico he somewhat just stands in one place and gets shot alot sometimes and he also just stares at an enemy without even shooting, RICO HARDLY SHOOTS HIS GUN I’m not playing when he shoots it he probably almost kills one person (I’m playing on Veteran).

Online is a different thing I mean wow. To put it in one word SUPERCALIFRAGILISTICEXPLODOCIOUS I know that is a disease I think but it has super, frag, Almost explode, Listic if that is even a word, Cali as in the state Cali, Ocious have no idea what i can do with that but it’s in there. To me people on Killzone 2 online are nicer than in other games like COD 4. The games I’ve played so far everybody was nice and we actually used tactical strategies to try and win. It seems like people that play Killzone 2 online just want to have a good time playing well in the game I’ve been in. The ranking in that game is pretty cool also you get ribbons based on how you do in a match. I don’t remember a ribbon name I got but I got a few.  PROs: Ranking system is pretty cool, Different classes are cool also, People are Nicer I wasn’t expecting that. CONs: Ranking system is good but if you make a game and your rank is way higher than your friends then he/she can’t enter, Classes are cool but each class is limited to a certain main gun Ex: Medic main weapon can only be Assault Rifles, If you meet someone that gets pissed alot then he will get pretty anal on the littlest thing.

Trophies are pretty easy to obtain in my opinion I haven’t gotten them all but they seem pretty easy except the Valor medal ones those are pretty tough because you have to be better than a certain % of players worldwide. Yesterday I got the 1st valor medal the bronze trophy for being better than 6% of players in a week I think.

The online sort of messes it up but i they can fix that then I’m fine but I read somewhere that they will be adding vehicles online I don’t know if this is true but if they do THEY WILL MESS UP THE ONLINE BIG TIME that is why I hate COD WAW because alot of people use vehicles too much.

2.40 got released a day early shocking.

I figured this out because I was about to play MGO and when I tried to sign in i got a message saying system software update when I pressed yes it said 2.40 so it came out like a few hours early I think.

Sony said 2.40 firmware update for ps3 is coming out July 2nd.

4.01 M33 officially out and 1.50 add on to follow.

Well it is finally here 4.01 M33 is out and at the end of this week also.

Team M33 officially says bye to 1.50 kernel.

What will this mean for homebrew in the future and how will the community react to this I wonder, but if they are saying farewell to 1.50 kernel they must be thinking for the best.

Rumor: Full list of PS3 XMB features revealed for 2.40

There are alot of revealed features for the XMB for 2.40,but this is a rumor so it might not be for 2.40 just hope it is.

Maintenance on the PSN today. 2.40 might be coming out soon.

4.00 M33 might be coming out the end of this week. *UPDATE*

*UPDATE*: Dark AleX’ recent blog post has clued us all in to a tentative release date for Custom Firmware 4.00 M33, which if met under optimal conditions, will allow us to see the CFW hit the Internet download portals by the end of this week.

But the early arrival of the first 4.00 M33 comes at another condition: the development of the features promised – the in-XMB recovery and savestates – may not be fully implemented all at once.

Dark AleX says that updates would soon roll for the homebrew developer’s CFW, and you’re likely to see those everything working with M33-2 or later.

And since the Team M33 is now picking up on the firmware that Sony fell short of, the developers are willing to go the extra mile. Now they’ll be addressing issues of shell compatibility and internally induced hiccups (homebrew app crashed by homebrew app), and a built-in prx and pbp utility to boot.

Dragon Ball Z Burst Limit

It is a good game the online is good but it lags the story is kind of short you can beat this game in about 1h 15mins if you wanted to. The transformations are just great they are the greatest transfromations I have ever seen in a DBZ game. The gameplay is like all the other Budokai’s there is this new thing called aura spark which grants you infinite ki for a short period of time. I’ll rate this game 7.5/10 because the story is short, the online needs a little bit more work and it is too simple and there are less stages and needs more people this is exactly a remake of DBZ Budokai.
